Plymouth – Ole Time Carnival |

The streets of Plymouth enliven with steelpan and calypso music at 5.00 a.m with the J’ouvert celebrations. This parade features the Old Mas Competition where prizes are awarded for the best-costumed band, the King and Queen of J’ouvert.
Traditional Mas characters take center stage in the afternoon. From 3.00 p.m, there will be parade of Dame Lorraines Wild Indians, Fancy Sailors, Burrokeets and Jab-Jabs. Speech band Competitions and Tamboo-Bamboo music completes the revelry. |
