Les Coteaux - Folk Tales and Superstitions

This production is centered on the many stories of folk tale characters such as Duennes, Soucouyants, Lagahoo and Jack a-Lanterns and the ritual of Obeah.

The day’s activities include a Village Day Fair at 2.00 p.m and at 8.00 p.m. a staged production. The staged production “Fuss Time Around” tells of the use of Obeah by a father to stop a romantic relationship from developing between his daughter and a village lad.
